FAQ on Scan to Salesforce closure

 

Q : What will happen after the Scan to Salesforce service ends?

A : After the service ends, the mobile app will still be usable for taking shots of business cards, but you won’t be able to use other functions such as OCR digitization and uploading to Salesforce. The same applies even if you’ve already installed the mobile app.

 

Q : Will the records already created in Salesforce through Scan to Salesforce be affected?

A : No, they won’t. Any Salesforce Account, Contact, and Lead records you made from business card data via Scan to Salesforce will remain intact within your account.

 

Q : If there are still business card images under the Scan to Salesforce tab that have not been transferred, will they be deleted when the service ends?

A : No, they’ll remain there unless you uninstall the Scan to Salesforce package.

 

Q : After the service ends, can I transfer the un-transferred business card images that are still under the Scan to Salesforce tab to my Leads and Contacts?

A : Yes, you’ll still be able to transfer data already uploaded to Salesforce even after the service ends.

 

Q : After the service ends, can I edit the business card data that remains under the Scan to Salesforce tab?

A : Yes, you’ll still be able to edit data already uploaded to Salesforce even after the service ends.

 

Q : Is the app still available in the app stores?

A : No, Scan to Salesforce has already been withdrawn from App Store and Google Play because the service ends on May 31, 2024. New installations are no longer available. We regret that we cannot respond to individual inquiries about this decision.

 

Q : Can you provide the mobile app individually?

A : No, we’re sorry that we cannot, and we regret that we cannot respond to individual requests. New installations are no longer available.

 

Q : Do you offer an alternative solution to Scan to Salesforce?

Q : Do I have to delete the mobile app or package when the service ends?

A : No, you don’t have to delete either of them. The service will simply become unavailable.
